R-MC Tops Divsion II Chowan 3-0

ASHLAND, VA -- Randolph-Macon got a team-best eight kills from April Hines as the Yellow Jackets topped Division II Chowan University 3-0 on Wednesday night in Crenshaw Gymnasium. R-MC won by games scores of 30-25, 30-17 and 30-22. The win is the fifth consecutive for the Yellow Jackets who now stand at 6-4 on the season.

Joining Hines on the offensive leader board was Michelle Lindsey who six kills on the night. Jill Kubichan also chipped in with four kills as well. Savanna love notched 14 assists while Sheri Trentadue had nine. Kendra Smith paced the defense with five block assists.

R-MC returns to action on Monday when it travels Washington, D.C. for 7:00 p.m. non-conference match.
