R-MC’s Sarah Almond Named ODAC Swimmer of the Week

ASHLAND, VA – Randolph-Macon’s Sarah Almond has been named the ODAC Swimmer of the Week after she led the Yellow Jackets to a win at their own invitational over the weekend.

Almond won all seven events she competed in at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, and was a part of 3 new pool record setting relays. Individually, she won the 50 and 100 freestyles in 25.66 and 56.26, respectively. She anchored the 200, 400, and 800 freestyle relays to wins and pool records, and also anchored the 200 and 400 medley relays to first place finishes.

Randolph-Macon is off until January 10th when it travels to Bridgewater for a 1:00 ODAC meet.
