R-MC Men’s Tennis Closes Out Regular Season with a 7-2 Win at Randolph
ASHLAND, VA – The Randolph-Macon men’s tennis team knocked off Randolph College on Friday afternoon by the score of 7-2, closing out its regular season with a 3-9 overall record and a 2-7 mark against ODAC foes.
R-MC won five of the six singles matches, led by John Best’s win at No. 2 singles, topping the WildCats Jeff Johnson 6-0, 6-0. Best then teamed ups with Job Merkel to defeat Allan Marr and Carl Coffey 8-0 in No. 2 doubles.
Next up for Randolph-Macon is the ODAC tournament April 16-20.
