Randolph-Macon College will host Guy Fi: The Fictions that Rule Men’s Lives on March 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the Andrews Hall Multi-purpose Room.

Cultural masculine expectations strongly influence many men’s behavior, sometimes in destructive ways. Guy Fi: The Fictions that Rule Men’s Lives is a humorous and engaging presentation about the ways men are encouraged to behave and experience themselves.

Christopher Kilmartin is a psychology professor at The University of Mary Washington and a professional stand-up comedian.

This Gender Benders Series lecture is sponsored by the R-MC sociology department’s Paige Perry Endowment, the women’s studies program, the history department, the First-Year Experience program, and the Committee on Assemblies and Special Events (CASE). This event is free and open to the public.
