“Ashland’s Bandstand: Raise the Roof!”

Ashland’s Musical Variety Show will be performed March 21, 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Blackwell Auditorium, Randolph-Macon College Center for the Performing Arts.
 
General admission tickets are $15 and may be purchased at Cross Brothers Grocery in Ashland. Reserved seating tickets are $20 and may be purchased by calling (804) 798-2881.

“Ashland’s Bandstand: Raise the Roof!” features a cast of 400 of all ages in an exciting mix of musical numbers new and old. The popular showcase of regional talent was begun in 1982 and has been held every odd-numbered year since 1983. This is the show’s 17th year.

Proceeds support community arts programs and will help the historic Hanover Arts & Activities Center with needed maintenance and repairs. The Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote arts, education and community building.
