The Randolph-Macon College
History Department will present the 2009 documentary “Capitalism: A Love Story” on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in Washington-Franklin Hall. The film centers on the late-2000s financial crisis and the recovery stimulus.
“Capitalism: A Love Story” gives acclaimed filmmaker Michael Moore’s perspective on such questions as: Is capitalism “moral?” Would Jesus have been a capitalist? Is capitalism the only workable economic system for America? Does it really even “work,” and if so, for whom? What caused the 2008 economic meltdown?
This event is free and open to the public. A discussion will follow the film. For more information (including information about disability services), contact Professor Michael Fischbach at (804) 752-7234 or
