New Fund Honors Luther White III ’47

At the Boydton Society Luncheon and Annual Meeting following R-MC’s Commencement on May 26, 2012, President Robert R. Lindgren announced the creation of a new fund to support the Center for Personal and Career Development. The fund honors R-MC’s 12th President, Dr. Luther W. White III, Class of 1947.

The Luther White Endowed Fund for Personal and Career Development will be funded with the proceeds of a $1 million charitable trust that will be distributed to the college when the trust terminates.

This gift was given by an anonymous donor in deference to President White’s long-standing involvement and contributions to the college, and to further his commitment to help R-MC students prepare for an ever-changing world.
