Scott Ainslie |
Blues musician Scott Ainslie will perform at Randolph-Macon College on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Ann’s Performing Arts Building.
This event is free and open to the public. According to Ainslie, “there is more to music than music.” Ainslie is also a writer and a historian of the Blues and, as a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Washington and Lee University, he understands the educational mission of a liberal arts college. Ainslie’s work as a musician and a scholar reflects both his reverence and affection for African and American culture and music.
A reception will follow the performance.
