The Honors Banquet celebrates the Honors Program and the exceptional students it serves. |
The Randolph-Macon College annual Honors Banquet was held on April 27, 2011 at the Henry Clay Inn. The event celebrated the
Honors Program and the exceptional students it serves.

Since its inception in 1982, the Honors Program has provided outstanding students with a unique mix of academic and social opportunities. Professor Jack Trammell, who directs the Program, says the Honors Banquet is one of his favorite events of the year.
“It is a wonderful opportunity to recognize some of our best students and the faculty who inspire and challenge them,” says Trammell. “It is always with a tinge of sadness that we say goodbye to seniors. But it is also a vivid reminder that next year’s seniors are already rising to the challenges that naturally unfold for them in a liberal arts curriculum that includes honors opportunities. By the time the next banquet is held, there will be another ‘book’ filled with academic and personal stories."
