Randolph-Macon College is proud to present an exhibition of Elisa D’Arrigo’s work April 15 through May 28, 2011.
D’Arrigo is a New York-based artist who has for the past 25 years made work in various media, two-dimensional and three-dimensional, that, although largely abstract, alludes to the body, nature and personal memory. She utilizes a variety of processes and media including sewing, paper, ink, found objects and paint. D’Arrigo is represented by Elizabeth Harris Gallery in New York City.
An opening reception will be held on Sunday, April 17 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
The exhibition will be held in the Filippo Gallery, Pace-Armistead Hall, Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and by appointment.
The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
