Randolph-Macon College will host an exhibit by Richmond-based painter and printmaker Janet DeCover. The exhibit will run from Nov. 12 - Dec. 23, 2010 in the Flippo Gallery, Pace-Armistead Hall. An opening reception will be held Sunday, November 14 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
DeCover utilizes both color and surface to create abstract images that are evocative of both narrative and psychological space. Her work has been exhibited throughout the region as well as in Iowa, Kentucky, Canada, Peru, and South Korea. She is represented by the Reynolds Gallery in Richmond, Virginia.
The Gallery is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and by appointment. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.
