Randolph-Macon College will host critically-acclaimed Karen Johnson, Richmond Symphony violinist and concertmaster, and Joanne Kong, pianist, during a concert at
3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2010 in St. Ann’s Performing Arts Building. This event is free and open to the public.
Johnson and Kong will present a special recital to commemorate the bicentennial year of Romantic-era composer Robert Schumann. Featured works will include the
Sonata in a minor Op. 105,
Fantasie Op. 131 and works of composers influenced by Schumann, including Brahms and Elgar.
