Randolph-Macon College students now have even more resources available to help them as they search for employment. The
Jobs4YellowJackets database, accessible to R-MC students only, is filled with opportunities for internships, part and full-time jobs, seasonal jobs, babysitting jobs and service positions.
R-MC invites alumni business owners and employers to post available positions on the database by clicking on “Career Services” and selecting the “Information for Employers” tab on the gray sidebar. Students can then review all employment opportunities by going to the same Web site and clicking on the “Jobs4YellowJackets” tab.
Director of Career Services Cathy Rollman considers the database a valuable resource for R-MC students, especially in today’s competitive job market. “Jobs4YellowJackets provides students with the opportunity to connect with employers who specifically want to recruit R-MC candidates,” she says. Rollman says that the database is very user-friendly and allows students access to it from the comfort of their rooms or anywhere on or off campus. "It’s exciting to now have an electronic database that students can access any time rather than relying on e-mail messages or hard copies posted in binders to get the word out about opportunities."
