ASHLAND, VA – The Randolph-Macon College women’s basketball team, in conjunction with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), is encouraging everyone attending R-MC’s game against Bridgewater College next Tuesday night (2/12) to “Think Pink!”
Fans are asked to join the Yellow Jackets and wear something pink to show their support for those in the coaching ranks battling breast cancer.
Throughout the week of February 8-17, all WBCA members have been asked to wear pink on the bench and to promote this weekend to their players and fans. This united “Think Pink” effort is aimed to educate, create awareness and motivate everyone to learn more about cancer prevention.
R-MC head coach Carroll LaHaye and her squad will take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. in an ODAC tilt Tuesday night in Ashland. The team will don pink t-shirts during warm ups and the Yellow Jackets are asking their fans to join them – be bold and wear something pink!
