The Randolph-Macon College Award for Achievement in the Arts was created by the college’s Arts Council to recognize individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the Arts in central Virginia and in so doing, have helped substantially the imaginative development of Randolph-Macon College students. The response to art both inside and outside the walls of Randolph-Macon College is equally important, and the recipient of the Achievement in the Arts Award will have created the venue, inspiration, and encouragement for our students, alumni, and friends to continue and expand their appreciation of art and their understanding of the world beyond the academic teaching space.
