Commuting students—those who are not campus residents and not within walking distance
of class—should call or email their instructors if they are not able to attend class
due to the snow conditions. Instructors are permitted to grant individual student
excuses due to today’s weather-related absences only for commuting students, who
would then be responsible for making up any missed work as the instructor directs.
Any instructor who is not willing to grant an excuse when hearing from a commuting
student should notify the Provost's Office.
Please be safe as you travel and are outside for any reason.
