Dear Members of the Class of 1968
Can you believe it’s been 40 years? We have volunteered to serve on the Class of 1968 reunion planning and gift committees, so you can expect to hear from us throughout the next few months with letters and e-mails about our upcoming reunion. If you have any interest in being part of the reunion planning team please let us know.
We hope that you received the Save the Date postcard that was mailed in January. If you did not, please mark your calendar for October 23-26, 2008! The planning committee is hard at work making sure that our reunion weekend is full of events that everyone will enjoy. Festivities begin Thursday night, October 23rd with a performance by the Capitol Steps in Crenshaw Gym. On Friday night, our class will be invited to attend the annual R-MC black-tie Celebration Gala. On Saturday, our class will have a reserved area for tailgating and, following the football game, everyone is invited to the first annual R-MC Oyster Roast. Last but certainly not least, the committee is putting together a great event just for our class on Saturday night.
As you can see, the weekend promises to be a memorable event. So, make sure to log onto the alumni website, http://www.rmc.edu/Alumni/reunions.aspx and provide your current e-mail address and contact information so we can continue to send you updates about the weekend. Also, attached you will find a form for the scrapbook. Please fill that out and return it back to the Alumni Office.
Our reunion committee is also working to make our 40th reunion campaign a success. We hope you will participate by making a gift to the Annual Fund or any area of the College you choose to
support. Our goal is to have every class member participate in this reunion campaign! Updates on giving and an honor roll of donors will be posted on the reunion website. If you have not already done so, please consider making a commitment by completing the enclosed pledge card or by making a gift online at http://www.rmc.edu/Alumni/reunions/Classof1968.aspx
Thank you very much. We look forward to seeing you on campus in October!
Sincerely,
Deal Tompkins Wayne Overton 1968 Reunion Committee
