Current Class of 1964 Reunion Information

Dear Class of 1964,

Can you believe it’s been 45 years since we graduated from R-MC? The Class of 1964 was a great class and we have made our mark on the world as the years have sped by!

By now, you should have received the “Save the Date” card for our 45th Reunion and seen announcements of this very special occasion in the R-MC Magazine. Please mark your calendar and be prepared to join our great reunion activities that will include:

• Friday, October 16, 2009 – The Homecoming Awards Luncheon in Alumni Gym and the incredible R-MC Gala reception celebration that evening under a huge tent with dancing music provided by “The Kings of Swing”! A separate invitation will be mailed to you this fall.
• Saturday, October 17, 2009 – We will have a tent set up for the Class of 1964 at the Alumni Tailgate with food and an open bar for all of us to enjoy. That evening we will have a specially reserved area for the Class of 1964 under the big tent where all nine reunion classes will gather for food, beverages and dancing to music by Baby Huey & The Babysitters. Former faculty will be present!
• Sunday, October 18, 2009 – A special Homecoming service will be held at Duncan Memorial United Methodist Church.

The Class of 1964’s website www.rmc.edu/Alumni/reunions/Classof1964.aspx is up and running! Click on the “Tentative RSVP” button to let us know if you think you will be able to be with us. In addition, send pictures of yourself or with your family that we can post. Contact information about local area motels is available and lots of other information pertaining to our celebration is being updated on a regular basis. You will receive the Homecoming brochure with the complete schedule of the weekend’s great events in early September. Our final mailing will be sent to you shortly thereafter.

Please contact some of your R-MC friends, roommates, teammates, etc., and ask them to join you back on campus for Homecoming and the Class of 1964’s Reunion in October. We look forward to seeing you then!
