Andrew W. Price ’04 received the Society of Alumni’s Young Alumnus Achievement Award on September 16, 2011 at the “Macon Connections” event at The Jefferson Hotel. Robert Lambeth ’71 presented the award.
The Young Alumnus Achievement Award honors alumni within 10 years of graduation who have demonstrated exemplary service or achievement in their chosen profession or community.
Price received his B.A. in political science from R-MC in 2004. At R-MC he played baseball, was a member of Theta Chi and was on the staff of the Yellow Jacket newspaper. He was also active in intramural sports, including basketball, softball and soccer.

Price currently works as a loan officer at SunTrust Mortgage, Inc. in Richmond.
Price joined the Young Alumni Board in 2006 and served as the organization’s chair from 2007-2009. During his tenure as chairman, he was also a member of the Society of Alumni Board. He is very involved in Randolph-Macon athletics both as a corporate sponsor and as the color commentator on Web and radio broadcasts for the men’s basketball program.
In addition to his volunteer efforts at Randolph-Macon, Price serves as director of the Kiwanis Club of Richmond, and director of the Virginia Voice. He also serves on the Board of Directors of his family’s foundation, the Matt Davis Foundation .
Price and his wife Anne live in Richmond.
Randolph-Macon is grateful to Price for his support of athletics and all that he does for the college.
