12 Reasons Your Gift Helps in “Macon a Difference” in 2012

1. Your gift helps the College raise money. Foundations and corporations look at alumni participation numbers when awarding grants or making donations, which means your gift enables much larger gifts.
2. Your gift helps cover the cost of an R-MC education. Tuition only covers 84% of the cost of educating a student at R-MC. The College looks to alumni support to help cover the rest. 
3. Your gift helps R-MC’s national ranking. The percentage of alumni who give any amount to their alma mater plays an important role in college rankings like US News and World Report. If you make a gift – again, of any size – it counts for us. However, non-donors count against us!
4. Your gift helps provide scholarships. Donations to THE RANDOLPH-MACON FUND help support scholarships for current students. Please join us in making sure that current students can benefit from the long tradition of scholarship aid that has benefited thousands of students, past and present!

The College announced a $100 million capital campaign in April 2011, the largest campaign in the history of Randolph-Macon. $77 million has been raised so far, as of April 2012. By making a gift today, you will be a part of this historic campaign that will provide the campus with state-of-the-art academic buildings, athletic facilities, student housing, and increased scholarship and research opportunities.
