International Education
Summer is a great time to pick up a course or two while also experiencing
another culture and a different part of the world. Although Randolph-Macon
does not offer summer abroad programs, several of the overseas institutions
with which Randolph-Macon has semester abroad programs also have
summer programs.
NOTE FOR R-MC STUDENTS: As with any course you plan to take
at a college or university other than R-MC, verify, in advance,
that R-MC will accept the course(s) offered overseas for transfer
credits. Do not assume that all courses will transfer back because
many will not. Stop by the Registrar's Office, pick up a blue "TRANSFER
CREDIT PERMISSION FORM" that is required for all transfer work,
and ask how to go about getting permission to take the course(s)
before you go abroad.

England at Lancaster
University
|
| |
Lancaster University offers an International Pre-Session Programme
(information for summer 2005 is not yet available). It runs
late in the summer when compared with a typical American academic
calendar, typically mid-August to mid September. However, for
students who plan to study in Europe during the fall semester
or whose academic plans otherwise fit the schedule, Lancaster's
program may be a good option. More information about studying
at Lancaster is available from their International
Office as well as R-MC's Office of International Education.
