International Student Orientation

A warm welcome from the Office of International Education at Randolph-Macon College!

Congratulations on your acceptance to R-MC! The College is excited for you to arrive on campus for the 2013-14 academic year. Our office is here to provide you and other international students with a number of services and resources to help you adjust to U.S. college life. We have selected five excellent International Assistants, who are going to assist you during the orientation week and academic year. Your International Assistant will contact you via e-mail this summer and answer any questions you may have prior to your arrival in the U.S.

As an international student, you are not required to attend the Summer Student Registration / Parent Orientation Days (dates to be announced); however, you must attend the New International Student Orientation, which is required for ALL new exchange and four-year matriculating international students. This will be followed by the New Student Orientation – for all Freshman, Exchange and Transfer students. Please mark the dates below on your calendar.

In order to attend the mandatory International Student Orientation, you must arrive at R-MC on our official international student arrival day, which is Sunday, August 25th. Your International Assistants will be assisting you with getting your school I.D., room key, and other important items upon your arrival. If you would like our office to arrange to pick you up at the Richmond International Airport, please let us know by Friday, August 17th.
