Speech Communication at R-MC is a minor program that matches up well with numerous majors. Any student who wants to improve his or her communication skills or to study how communication works in a range of contexts might well consider the minor. Reflecting this emphasis on both communication skills and communication studies, the minor consists of three skills courses (SPCH 210, SPCH 215, and either SPCH 220 or FLET 204); two communication studies courses from a growing list that includes JOUR 203, PSCI 307, PSCI 308, and WMST 361; and either a capstone internship or capstone research experience.
