The story of Team Bourbon Street

Here is the story of how five students from Randolph-Macon College, Lauren, Elisabeth, Luke, De and Richie spent their J-term in New Orleans. For two weeks we attempted to help the citizens of New Orleans get back on their feet by cleaning up the aftermath of Katrina. Overall it was an INCREDIBLE experience filled with memories we will never forget.

We worked in collaboration with the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR (outside link)), and stayed just outside the city in Gretna, Louisiana at the Gretna United Methodist Church (outside link).
