My name is Kelly Cramer and I am a sophomore at R-MC. I am a sociology major and had great experience while in Ghana. I wrote about our experience at the football match between the Ghanaian Black Stars and Namibia. Attending the game was unforgetable and one of the best experiences on the trip.

Hello, my name is Seth Haley. I am a sophomore majoring in international studies and drama. I had the great privilege of going to Ghana this past J-term. There I saw so many amazing people and things. The most compelling of these were the fanfare, pride, and excitement centered around the Africa Cup of Nations and Ghana's team, the Black Stars. Red, yellow, green, and black (colors of Ghana's flag) graced every car, bike, house, and person. I tried to capture that atmosphere in the pictures on this website. Some I took and others I selected from photos other people took.

Akwaaba to our site. My name is Steven Matthews and I was one of the lucky voyagers that had the chance to study abroad in Ghana. The two week experience was overwhelming to say the least. I am a junior at R-MC, majoring in Accounting and Sociology. The most memorable experience of the trip for me was the football game between Ghana and Namibia. The trip as a whole was very impressionable, but in particular the material culture was especially apparent to me. The exposure of the Africa Cup directed the focus of manufactures and vendors to the pride of the Ghanaian people and the advancement of the Black Stars. GO BLACK STARS!
