Dr. Malin's teaching
interests span the instruction of Spanish language and literature
at all levels. His research interests include 19th-century
Spanish literature, the Spanish novel of the late 18th century
and 19th century with a particular focus on the epistolary
novel of the period as well as the 20th- century novel in
letters. Another interest is the use of letters in pop culture
and music (especially in opera and country music).
