Psychopathology
Course Description
A general survey of behavioral disorders and their underlying biological
and psychological dysfunctions, and research experience in these
areas. Behavioral, cognitive, psychodynamic, and physiological models
will be critically examined. Emphasis will be given to understanding
the methodology and theoretical orientation of each model. The history,
assessment, and classification of psychopathology will be investigated
and major psychological and somatic types of therapy will be described
and evaluated.
