Tee GesellschaftWenn Du Zeit und Lust hast, dann komm’ doch zu unserem Treffen. Wir treffen uns um 15:30 Uhr in Haley. Es gibt Scrabble auf Deutsch, Tee und Gebäck! Come and join our “royal” tea society! All levels are welcome! There will be games such as German scrabble as well as tea and pastry.

The German Club forms a wonderful way to reach out to the college and surrounding communities to involve students and others in a variety of activities throughout the academic year. The club’s purpose is to promote the language, history and culture of the German-speaking world and to support all students in their endeavors to expand their knowledge of German culture. To become a member, one must only have the desire to be part of this organization. Everyone is welcome at every event that the German Club organizes. All activities mean lots of fun and may raise money for events such as the Dance Marathon or any other goal that the club sets for itself. Club activities can be German Movie Nights, Oktoberfest, Advent Calendar Fundraiser, Art Exhibit Trip to Richmond, DC or NY, Techno Parties, Guest speaker presentations, Weihnachtsfeier – Christmas celebration in German-speaking countries (with baked pastry and sweets), attending music concerts of German composers, and more.
