Linsey Hackett, Class of 2007
Linsey is using her Spanish skills and background in international relations as
a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador.
Marci Varley, Class of 2003
Marci works with Rakai Community Based AIDS Organization (RACOBAO) in Uganda. She
writes human interest stories about the people and families RACOBAO is helping,
creates video presentations with her photographs to be given to donors and used
at fundraisers, and teaches English at the vocational school for children who did
not have a chance to finish secondary school.
Petrine Knight, Class of 2006
After graduating from Randolph-Macon, Petrine put her majors in French and Art History
to use at the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas. An aspiring curator with interests
in 18th-century French and British art, she is currently pursuing a graduate degree
in London, England.
Katie Campbell, Class of 2005
Katie has been teaching Spanish since she graduated from Randolph-Macon with a major
in Spanish and minor in Education. She teaches Spanish to students of all levels
at the Brevard Academy, a charter school in North Carolina.
Michelle Crandall, Class of 2002
Michelle is an Agricultural Extension Agent with the Peace Corps in Mali, West Africa.
Michelle works with the local Women's Association, elementary school, and maternity,
using French every day and improving the lives of people living in Mali.
Lauren Zagorski, Class of 2000
Lauren graduated with a major in French and minors in Religion and English. After
beginning her career in advertising with Louis Vuitton in North America, she now
uses her French as Senior Executive of Advertising, Events, and Marketing for the
Monaco Government Tourist Office.
Jennifer Sabine, Class of 1994
Jennifer graduated from Randolph-Macon College with a double major in French and
International Studies. She later studied international business in France and is
now Managing Director of the International Institute for Learning in Paris.
Katherine Harned, Class of 1994
Katie has continuously used her French major and Education minor throughout her
career. After graduation she taught in Hanover county, then became a corporate language
trainer in France, and is currently the Business Manager for the Valentino line
with Bergdorf Goodman.
