Course description: This is the second part of two intermediate courses for students who has had Spanish before or have some cultural background about the Hispanic Word. Students will review the essentials of Spanish, will be exposed to new structures and vocabulary and cultural topics. Practice of the four skills will be stressed: speaking, listening, reading and writing, but especial attention will be paid to aural and oral skills, given the travel nature of this course.
Responsibilities: Students are expected to attend all class meetings as well as the cultural visits arranged by the instructor during the stay in Alicante. Assignments will go from in-class / outside of class oral work, writing assignments, completion of workbook and lab manual to cultural presentations related to their experience with Spanish people and culture.
Prerequisites: Spanish 211.
