The
Butler Multimedia Learning Center is a multi-faceted learning area in Haley Hall
open to students and faculty in all areas of the curriculum.
The
lab has 12 PC workstations, 6 PC laptops to enable mobile computing within the lab
space, and a printing station. The lounge area can be used for film screenings and
features a multistandard DVD player and optional wireless headphones. Students and
faculty can check out language-learning media, reference books, and audio-visual
equipment. The
Butler Lab student staff and director assist faculty and students with media projects
and curriculum development, as well as technology training and troubleshooting.
Our services include:
- Video production and digital image
assistance
- Scanning
- Help with development of multimedia
projects
- Training on software such as MovieMaker,
Publisher, PowerPoint, and more
