As a part of the International Studies major, students will be required to study
abroad. Randolph-Macon offers year-long and semester-long programs in Australia,
Brazil, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand,
Northern Ireland, and Spain. In addition students have the opportunity to travel
abroad during the January Term. Past January courses have included study/travel
in Germany, Austria, England, Ireland, France, Russia, China, Mexico, and Israel.
Internships and Other Study Opportunities:
Students are also encouraged to seek out internship opportunities as a part of the
International Studies major. Internship opportunities at Randolph-Macon are widely
available and vary by year and concentration. Other opportunities to study include
senior projects, field study and special topics within International Studies. For
