Patricia Watkinson, R-MC Department of History:
Professor Watkinson will discuss the pan-European campaign to encourage women to
have babies and how many resisted the call to motherhood because they did not want
to give birth to future soldiers. This is the last of a series of lectures on “Real
Mothers” from the 2013-2014 R-MC Interdisciplinary Women’s Studies Speakers Series.
