BLACK STUDIES
Black Studies Minor: The Black Studies Department
The minor in Black Studies consists of 18 credit hours. A minor must include Introduction to Black Studies, Seminar in Black Studies, two courses chosen from the history, literature, religion or fine arts core courses, a social science core course, and one elective from the core. In addition to these courses' students may request permission from the Black Studies Council to substitute appropriate Honors courses, travel courses, Internships, Independent Study or related courses for a course on the minor.
