Studying is a skill, and, like any skill, it's one you can improve. R-MC's one-credit
Study Skills course (GNED 100) helps you master the essentials of good study habits,
from time-management to note-taking to preparing for tests.
R-MC's GNED 100 is free and taken in conjunction with simultaneous enrollment in
another, regular three- or four-credit course. Students typically enroll in Study
Skills along with an introductory or lower-level course, so that they may apply
those study skills towards mastering the important foundations in the subject area.
Study Skills helps students in particular with the specific reading, writing, viewing,
and problem-solving demands of the companion course.
Study Skills is open to all currently enrolled Randolph-Macon students. Non-degree-seeking
students may enroll in the course with instructor's permission.
