Evaluate your academic progress toward your proposed medical career and discuss it with your advisor or a member of the Pre-Medical Advisory Committee
Investigate the Counseling and Career Planning office and take self-assessment tests
Pre-health courses you should have completed by the end of the Freshman year:
Biology 121,122 and/or Chemistry 121,121L,122,122L
One course in Mathematics
Chemistry 211, 211L, 212, 212L (if Chemistry 121, 121L, 122, 122L taken freshman year)
Physics 111,121L,112,122L (or take in junior year)
Second course in Mathematics
AMCAS opens June 1
*If you plan to delay application to professional school, then you should ask faculty members if they will write you an evaluation letter at this time and the Pre-Medical Advisory Committee can hold the letters until it is time for you to actually apply.
